"Joy is a state of being." For too long, women have been conditioned to shrink themselves to fit into a mold—to be a little leaner, a little more flawless, a little closer to someone else’s definition of perfection. But true growth happens when we realize we don’t need to diminish our presence to shine.
This summer, Stacey partners with HAI to launch Sunshine State—a curated swimwear collection that celebrates natural curves, mindful design, and the ultimate freedom of being yourself. Behind her sun-kissed, effortless confidence, Stacey’s journey to self-love was hard-won. "My goal has always been simple," she reflects. "I want to share my own raw experiences and growth to empower women to find their own definition of beauty."

The Accidental Creator: Finding Connection in a Digital World
Stacey never set out to become an influencer.
What started as a casual outlet to share her everyday style, makeup routines, and life grew into something much deeper. Soon, her DMs were flooded with messages from girls asking: "How do you do your makeup?" and more importantly, "How do you stay so confident?" That was the exact moment Stacey realized her everyday vulnerability was serving as a guidepost for others. "This platform shifted from a personal diary to a space of genuine companionship and connection." It became clear that her purpose wasn’t just to recommend pieces, but to show women that confidence isn't an innate trait—it’s a practice, and it’s contagious.
Redefining Beauty Beyond the Standard
In an industry that has historically romanticized a singular, ultra-lean body type, Stacey’s healthy, curvaceous silhouette stood out. Navigating unsolicited, critical commentary about her body was a challenge she knew all too well.
"For a long time, I couldn't accept my own body because I was trapped in a cycle of comparison," she admits.
But as the cultural conversation shifted toward body positivity and inclusive beauty, Stacey experienced a profound mindset evolution. She chose to honor her body in the present moment, refusing to let external metrics define her worth. This very transformation became the heartbeat of Sunshine State: a philosophy that views curves not as flaws to be concealed, but as unique contours to be celebrated.

Owning the Lows: Bridging the Gap Between "Knowing" and "Doing"
While her digital persona is defined by warmth and vitality, Stacey is candid about her battles with anxiety. The creative industry, fueled by metrics and comparison, can easily trigger self-doubt. For eight years, Stacey navigated a heavy season of anxiety and depression. She experimented with countless mindfulness practices, only to realize how vast the distance can be between logically knowing you need to heal, and actually doing the emotional work to get there.
The turning point came with a simple shift in perspective: "Pain or joy—either way, a day will pass. The future you choose to build is entirely in your hands."
Having hit rock bottom and climbed back up through intentional action, Stacey developed a clearer view of authentic happiness. Delving into psychology, she learned that everyone moves to their own rhythm. "Instead of envying someone else's timeline, I chose to redirect that anxious energy into my own personal growth." To Stacey, self-love isn't a luxury purchase; it's the quiet commitment to show up for yourself. True radiance isn't about being untouchable; it’s about choosing to move forward after the storm—a gentle, resilient message she wants to pass on to every woman.

Designed for Peace of Mind: The HAI × Stacey Synergy
When it comes to swimwear, Stacey’s non-negotiables are always fit, security, and comfort. She firmly believes that the architecture of a swimsuit can dictate a woman's core confidence.
In her co-designed collection with HAI, she infused her need for emotional and physical security into every design element:
-
The Streamlined Waist-Snatching Silhouette: Intentionally tailored to contour and elevate natural, organic feminine lines.
-
The Secure Fit of One-Piece Architecture: Offering high-performance coverage that stays put.
-
The Adjustable Mini-Skirt Feature: Designed to eliminate any wardrobe-malfunction anxiety, allowing women to move, sit, and lounge on the sand with total freedom.
"The goal of design should never be about helping a woman 'hide' her body," Stacey emphasizes. "It should be about highlighting her inherent uniqueness. Great swimwear should amplify your charm, not your insecurities." This is the ultimate gift of Sunshine State: a collection engineered not to make you self-conscious, but to give you the quiet confidence to step unapologetically into the light.

The Next Chapter: Independence in Canada
True to her spirit of constant evolution, Stacey is stepping into her next fear-facing adventure: a solo working holiday in Canada. It’s a deliberate choice to reset, challenge her boundaries, and cultivate a grounded lifestyle through budgeting, structured routines, and consistent movement. Ultimately, it's about feeling at home in your own skin—no matter where you are in the world.
From a young girl anchored in comparison to a woman coexisting peacefully with her body and emotions, Stacey's story is a testament to resilience. If her journey can inspire even one more woman to look in the mirror with a bit more kindness, then every step was worth it.
This summer, take a moment for sunshine, smiles, and a swimsuit that truly understands you. Because your body has never been the problem—you just hadn’t met the design that speaks your language.
